Robert Gregov, CFP®, CFA

Hello. My name is Rob Gregov.

I am the Founder and Senior Wealth Advisor at Roche Financial Partners. I’ve been in the financial services industry for more than 30 years the last 17 years as a financial advisor. If the past 30 years have taught me anything it’s that making small changes in your financial life can have a tremendous impact over time.

So that is my goal  I want to guide families in making the best decisions they can for their long-term financial well-being. I realized a long time ago that expert knowledge and extensive experience in personal finance would obviously be a prerequisite if I was going to ask my clients to trust me and my advice. Over the past 30 years, I held various positions in many different financial services companies.  All of which has allowed me to develop the services and solutions I am proud to offer today.

Specifically, my work experience includes Wachovia Bank where I held multiple positions in personal banking, Merrill Lynch where I focused my attention on investment management and financial analysis, Albridge Solutions with responsibility for the firm’s investment account platform and Advisory Solutions product lines, and finally Roche Financial Partners where I am able to combine this experience into a service that helps others live the life they want to live by providing financial guidance and investment solutions.

I hold a B.S. Degree in Business Administration from the College of New Jersey and an MBA degree in Finance from Rutgers University. I am a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® Professional (CFP®).

I am also a member of The New York Society of Security Analysts, The National Financial Planning Association, The Financial Planning Association of New Jersey, CFA Institute, and The American Management Association (AMA).

Over the course of my career, I have been responsible for the development of numerous investment and asset allocation strategies and have authored several articles and whitepapers on the benefits of financial planning and investment management. Many of these articles can be found on my LinkedIn page and on my website.

I currently live in Hopewell, NJ with my wife and two sons. For fun, I enjoy spending time with my family, including coaching my sons’ sports teams and working on my small farm.

Now it’s your turn…contact me and tell me about yourself and let’s see if I can help with some of your financial concerns and to build a solid foundation for your financial success.

“Our strength and skill is knowing our clients, understanding their goals, and finding the tools and people to exceed expectations. The ultimate measure of our success is achieving our client’s most important goals.”

What investment vehicles will be used by Roche Financial Partners when investing my assets?
We primarily utilize Exchange-Traded Funds that are traded on the major U.S. stock exchanges and are like index mutual funds in that they seek to match the performance of indexes such as the S&P 500. ETFs are the investment vehicle of choice for various reasons. ETFs have lower expenses than actively managed funds allowing more of your money to work for you. With one ETF an investor can own an entire market segment without the risk of holding individual stocks. The ETF holds the same securities that the index holds for the most part but delivers this diversification at a lower cost with returns that are superior to that of active managers. ETF shareholders enjoy greater tax efficiency because they are unaffected by other shareholders activities, unlike the situation that exists in a mutual fund. As such, taxable distributions can be minimized providing a tax efficient means to achieving superior performance.
